Club soccer is a real commitment of time and money, and it is not the right fit for every player or every family. If your child is thriving in rec, rec is a good place to be. If they are asking for more, this is the next rung.

What happened to MAYSO Magic?
Nothing changed except the name and the badge. The competitive tier of MAYSO is becoming NXT Florida. The club is the same 501(c)(3), on the same fields, with the same people. The Magic name retires from the competitive tier.
What is NXT Florida?
NXT Florida is the competitive arm of MAYSO, operating under the NXT badge alongside NXT clubs in other states. For a Bradenton player it means a defined pathway that does not end at the county line.
Does this change anything for rec families?
No. Recreational soccer stays MAYSO, with the MAYSO crest, the same registration and the same fees. The rebrand applies to the competitive tier only.
When are tryouts?
Tryout dates for the coming season are being finalised. Add your details to the tryout list and we will send dates, times by age group, location and what to bring as soon as they are confirmed.
How much does club soccer cost?
Club fees for the coming season are being finalised and will be published on this page. MAYSO publishes every price openly, and financial aid is available through our scholarship fund.
